BEHIND the LENS
Danforth Neal is an international destination wedding photography team comprised of artists and husbands Todd Danforth and Adam Neal. Their approach is well-balanced and multifaceted, combining elements of editorial, documentary, and fine art wedding photography with a service-driven ethos. The result is an exceptional, wholly unique visual narrative that artfully captures a complete sensory experience.
FEATURES
Todd DANFORTH
Todd is an artist and photographer with a background and education in the fine arts. A New Englander, born and raised, Todd began his photographic training in the darkroom and combines technical expertise, art history education, and a photojournalistic style to beautifully capture the raw authenticity of love. His passion for portraiture has inspired a number of personal photographic essays which have been exhibited and published nationally and internationally. He was awarded a Getty Images Creative Grant for his current portrait project, Queer Inheritance, exploring queer history, community, and identity through cross-generational dialogue and photographic preservation of LGBTQ people.
Adam NEAL
Adam is a writer, photographer, and the studio manager. In 2018, Adam and Todd joined forces and Danforth Neal was born. With an education and training in the sciences, Adam brings a keen and analytical eye for detail, paired with a unique artistic perspective, and disarming personality. Beyond photographing weddings and events, Adam uses his talents to pursue multiple documentary photographic and writing projects focused on queer, diasporic, and intersectional identities.
