Charles River Esplanade Engagement Photos in Boston, Massachusetts
One of the most romantic locations in the Boston area for engagement photos and couples sessions is the Charles River Esplanade, located at the far north end of Back Bay, just west of the Boston Public Gardens and Boston Common. This location boasts wide open areas with dramatic willow trees, riverside trails, romantic bridges, and incredible city views. If you happen to come during the summer or early fall, you’ll also be treated to views of boats sailing the Charles River—a picturesque and very New England vibe. This is where Robyn and Danielle, a dentist and bespoke carpenter and furniture maker, decided to commemorate their engagement! They chose this location, not just for it’s incredible sunset views of the Cambridge skyline, but also because of the significance this place held in their relationship. The couple not only got engaged here, but they also come here frequently for morning runs with their dog, Rookie, a sweet Bernese mountain dog! Despite how busy the Charles River Esplanade was on this particular weekend afternoon, the views were still excellent and the was plenty of space to make beautiful portraits. We can’t wait for Robyn and Danielle’s spectacular wedding weekend next summer in Lake Sunapee New Hampshire, planning and design buy the incredible Mandy O’Connor of Hummingbird Event and Design.
